Wise Monkey Orchestra Unveils Tour Plans

Wise Monkey Orchestra has announced plans to tour on the West Coast. Saxophonist Dave Ellis (Charlie Hunter Trio, RatDog, the Other Ones), will join the band for a two-night stand, March 23 and 24, at Tongue N Groove in San Francisco, CA. Ellis appears on the group’s live album They Live, released on Lauan Records in December. The tour is slated to begin February 22 at the Troubadour in Los Angeles, CA. “This is going to be one of the truest tours we’ve done in a long time because we really wouldn’t want to be anywhere else,” says lead singer Alley. “We haven’t felt this good collectively in a long time. We’re ready to go.” The tour is currently scheduled to run through March 25, when the band will perform at Sierra Vista in Lake Tahoe City, NV. However, more dates will be added, including shows on the East Coast.
