Lauan Records, the Jamband Label, recently added Ancient Harmony and Larry to their roster of quality bands and the label is hard at work is planning a new Three Sets compilation with those two bands and Wise Monkey Orchestra. Lauan has set up an outstanding MP3 library for six bands, featuring multiple downloads per band. Go get yourself some free jams, including 26 from Day By the River, 15 from Jiggle The Handle, and 23 tracks from Vinyl. These are not all the typical short downloads, we're talking about some 30 minute soundboards here, like Ancient Harmony's "Sweet Harmony"! DBR highlights include a 25 minute "Puddin" with Jeff "Apt Q258" Sipe and SCI's Michael Kang. There are great covers that showcase the roots of these bands, like Larry's cover of "Bertha", "Franklin's Tower" by Ancient Harmony and Jiggle the Handle doing JGB staple "Tore Up," with Merl Saunders. Most of these MP3 are live tracks, but there are some album cuts, you can get MP3s from both Wise Monkey Orchestra albums, including "Feel It" and "Loving Chore". Rock on! -tk
